Featuring my 4 Lush Obsessions
Lush cosmetics has always been a consistent brand favourite of mine, and their ethics are so motivational and inspiring. More recently, I’ve been more invested in exploring their brand to its full extent, and I must admit I’m extremely impressed. So, here is a quick review of my top 4 Lush products (at the moment).
“Mask of Magaminty” – This face mask is one of the first Lush products I ever used, as it was a gift from a friend. It is great for targeting skin outbreaks, smells lovely, fresh and clean, and has a pleasant cooling effect on the skin while in use, which makes for an enjoyable experience while using this product. For my skin type (combination) this mask really helps keep spots at bay, while not drying out my skin.
“Dark Angels” – Another face mask great for targeting outbreaks, Dark Angels uses charcoal to help attack those spots. It’s a creamy consistency, easy to apply, and lasts much longer than expected. This is a great mask for keeping on top of your skin.
“Grease Lighting” – This product combines witch hazel and tea tree oil to help treat and target spots before they become a problem. A little goes a long way with this spot treatment, and unlike other tea tree oil based products, doesn’t dry out the skin very much, which I appreciate. All in all, an impressive and skin friendly spot treatment I could happily recommend.
“Honey Lip Scrub” – The sugar lip scrub is one of Lush’s most infamous products, and for good reason. The scrub gives instant results, with softer lips from the second the product is removed. And the best part – it tastes delightful. My personal favourite flavour is Honey, a staple and subtle taste, simple yet flawless. Other flavours include bubble gum, mint juleps, and cookie dough.
Hopefully soon I’ll be able to expand my Lush collection, and can review more products. Leave a comment with what you’d like me to review next!
All the love,
